The Open Door Studio offers painting classes in Wexford for complete beginners, as well as for more experienced painters.

Painting classes take place at the Open Door Studio only 10 minutes from both Wexford and Enniscorthy towns and 5 minutes from Castlebridge.

Term 10 weeks
Afternoon beginners class - Mondays 2.00pm -5.00pm
Morning classes - Tuesday, Wednesday,
New beginners painting class - Tuesday afternoons 2.30 - 5.00pm

Painting classes for beginners

Painting classes for complete beginners are structured by the teacher so that basic skills are taught in a step-by-step way that makes learning to paint easy and fun.

The approach has been highly successful, and you will find it:

Each painting class at the Open Door Studio, Wexford has a maximum of 8 pupils, allowing us to give every pupil individual attention and to learn at their own pace.

CLASSES FOR EXPERIENCED PAINTERS

The Open Door Studio offers painting classes in Wexford for both intermediate and experienced painters

At the Open Door Studio, we can help you to develop your painting from your current level.

Classes at the studio are designed to develop both the skills needed to draw and paint and to encourage a creative individual approach to art. You can work in acrylics, oils, watercolour, pastels, mixed media, drawing materials, etc.

Students are given a structured foundation in the use of colour, tone, texture, composition, and drawing skills. We have students who choose landscape, portrait, still-life, abstract or personal creative projects.
Mary Claire works alongside each student to help them discover what suits them best as time goes on.

When can i start painting classes?

Classes run for 2 terms from October to Easter
